Job Description:
The Director of Data Science, Supply Chain is responsible for developing and implementing data-driven strategies that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of McKesson’s supply chain operations. You will lead a talented team of data scientists and analysts as part of a corporate Supply Chain / Operations Research COE to uncover insights, optimize processes, and improve decision-making across our supply chain ecosystem - with a particular focus on demand forecasting & inventory management.
This individual is responsible for collaborating with various internal groups, notably senior leadership within McKesson Technology, our key business stakeholders, and FP&A. The leader is also a member of Advanced Analytics Leadership team, as well as the Data and Digital Innovation Leadership team. They will collaborate across the team to build and deliver on broad data and digital organizational capabilities related to machine learning. He/she guides senior leadership and cross-functional executives in relevant issues and represents the department more broadly at the enterprise level.
