Customer License Technology Manager

Current Need

  • We are seeking a Business Intelligence Manager to join our team in Richmond, VA.

Position Description

Reporting to the Director, of Customer Licensing and Compliance, the Customer License Technology Manager acts as a business partner to the organization by ensuring the data necessary for advanced analytics and insights pertaining to customer licensing metrics is being managed to a high degree of accuracy and detail. Business Intelligence and Data Engineering is required to build and interpret critical analytics, reporting, results and trends to transform data into meaningful insights that enable the success of our internal and external customers. This role will design, develop and execute processes to build and govern complex data elements from various data sources both internal and external to McKesson, focused customer license data. This role will manage one direct report.

Responsibilities

  • Analyzes Customer data risks & opportunities for improving accuracy and enrichment of the data.
  • Designs, develop, and publish automated processes enabling data to be available for various stakeholders of the Master Data Management organization.
  • Develops and delivers regular intelligence, updates and dashboards that identifies significant changes, opportunities, and mitigating recommendations for the organization.
  • Develops and maintains internal and external networks to support knowledge gathering and sustainable sharing of best practices in descriptive, predictive, and prescriptive analytics across the organization.
  • Influences and inspires change through the delivery of insights (trends, internal and external insights, business context) in a simple and compelling manner with internal customers.
  • Acts as primary point of contact for any reporting/dashboard requirements (recurring or adhoc) and opportunities for improvements; works collaboratively with key internal stakeholders.
  • Recommends creation and adoption of new tools for advanced analytics in line with the customer and business needs.
  • Improves Master Data internal data sources by monitoring and evaluating new competitive sources.
  • Identifies and reviews opportunities for continuous improvement; makes recommendations and implements solutions.
  • Acts as a McKesson ambassador of corporate values.

Minimum Requirements

Degree or equivalent experience. Typically requires 6+ years of professional experience and 0-2 years of supervisory experience.

Critical Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a business analyst or similar role, preferably in the healthcare sector.
  • Experience managing, leading others
  • Experience with data analytics or computer science.
  • Understanding of business analysis and problem solving.
  • Advanced knowledge of the MS Office products (Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Experience with Power BI, Tableau or Snowflake a plus.
  • Experience with BI programming language (SQL, R Python, ...etc.) a plus.
  • Knowledge of or experience with CRM (Salesforce) and Oracle a plus.
  • Knowledge of US healthcare industry and/or experience with healthcare data sets a plus.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline
