The Analyst would be responsible for supporting research in pharma market and industry related topics to position our commercial, sales and product teams in the best possible way to win and inform strategy of how we need to prepare for winning in the future. Analysis will consist of deep dives into the market which will be tied back to product performance, targeting and health of current portfolio. Expectations include dashboard development, participating in deep dive analyses around therapeutic areas and the clinical pipeline in efforts to inform go-to-market strategy, differentiation, quality improvement initiatives and more. We are in search of a driven, self-motivated team-player who will thrive in a constantly changing and time-sensitive environment. This role requires a candidate that is energized by solving complex problems, has the tenacity to push through to complete difficult projects, and is able to win others over by quickly establishing credibility in the analytics space. A deep interest in data, a passion for healthcare, and an analytic, probing mind are all necessities.

What You’ll Do 

Like most growing companies, the job content of all positions varies daily as everyone pitches in to get the job done. Nonetheless, we try to maintain clarity with respect to employees’ primary responsibilities.

  • Collaborate across business units to funnel valuable information, insight and knowledge regarding Market Intelligence to inform strategy
  • Integrate Market Intelligence strategy with overall Corporate goals for the business
  • Develop methods and tools to keep CMM up-to-date on industry trend
  • Collaborate with business resources to solve complex problems through data analytics
  • Help in creating live-updating, interactive business analytics tools to track the market
  • Make sure our client-facing team members have the information they need to win
  • Perform quality checks, investigate anomalies, and identify opportunities for improvement 

The ideal candidate will be a natural collaborator with strong analytical skills and an innate drive to innovate.

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent; healthcare experience strongly preferred 
  • 3-5 years of experience in a BI role in healthcare/Pharma industry
  • SQL experience highly preferred
  • Pharmaceutical experience with an understanding of industry trends is a plus
  • Business and Operations Analysis within pricing, sales, operations, or opportunity identification analysis using quantitative techniques; and,
  • Strong interest in and aptitude for data analytics; experience with SQL a big plus
  • Bright, outstanding problem-solver
  • Strong critical thinking skills
  • Ability to clearly and concisely present findings to stakeholders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment
  • Strong desire to teach others what you know
  • Expert-level knowledge of Microsoft Excel (complex nested functions, pivot tables/charts, vlookup, index, data connections)
