Roles & Responsibilities

• Design, build and deploy BI solutions based on the above requirements.
• Analyse existing reports and optimize them for standardization across the company.
• Set up and maintain BI tools, infrastructure, and integration with company data sources.
• Collaborate with teams to integrate systems.
• Propose data schema and data flow optimization for reporting performance and enhancement as needed.
• Collect and maintain the set of business reporting requirements.
• Translate business needs to technical specifications.
• Conduct unit testing and troubleshooting
• Develop and execute database queries and conduct analyses.
• Create visualizations and reports.
• Develop and update technical documentation.

Desired Experience/Target Industries/Domain

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, CS or equivalent experience
• Hands-on experience as a BI Developer with BI technologies (e.g. Tableau, Looker)
• In-depth understanding of database management systems, online analytical processing (OLAP) and ETL (Extract, transform, load) framework.
• Good knowledge of SQL queries
• Understanding data modeling, data schemas (normalized, flat, star, snowflake, etc.).
• Knowledge about PostgreSQL is recommended.
• Experience of working in Cloud Environment will be added advantage.
• Knowledge about ClickHouse database will be added advantage.

Mandatory Skills

• Require strong analytical skills, methodical thinking, and ability to define problems and frame solutions.
• Have good experience in BI tools.
• Must have good hands on experience on database operations.
• Experience in driving business requirements, knowledge gathering sections and prepare Requirement Documents, Specification Documents, Data flow, Process flow charts etc.
• Proficiency with Looker and Tableau.
• Ability to organize, prioritize and manage personal and teams work.
• Excellent communication, presentation (both oral and written) and influencing skills.
• Ability to work as team player in a technology driven environment.
