We are looking for someone like that who can:

  • manage the team to deliver exceptional results in transaction reporting area
  • ensure clear and transparent communication of regulatory risk
  • ensure smooth cooperation between Krakow team and regional stakeholders; including various management forums
  • analyze various regulatory requirements and follow transaction flow to confirm its behavior is in line with this reporting regime
  • inspire the team to conduct deep dive reviews into existing reporting rules and understand the root cause of regulatory breaches
  • stay up-to-date on regulatory requirements and ensure that those requirements are followed in the process your team run
  • analyze, suggest and execute improvements for existing testing methodologies including automated solutions
  • work with the team and other leaders within the group to define new test scenarios based on updated regulatory requirements;

Your team

As a member of the Regulatory Transaction Reporting Quality Assurance Asset Management team you will be responsible for managing the team of subject matter experts performing reconciliations between UBS sourced transaction reporting data and data reported to Regulators.

The role will include involvement in transformation projects related to regulatory changes and re-engineering, automating, and implementing or improving existing and new span of controls. Our aim is to support management to ensure that UBS is executing transaction reporting responsibilities in a sustainable and high-quality manner that meets the expectations of regulators, i.e. transactions and positions reported to various exchanges and industry related self-regulatory organizations are complete, accurate and in a timely manner. You will be working with various teams and partners across the firm, such as Integrated Middle Office, Regulatory Reporting Teams, Data Management, IT and Compliance.

Your expertise

You have:

  • a university degree, preferably in Finance / Economics / Business Management
  • minimum of three years of experience in financial services and people management
  • experience in Audit/Operational Risk and Control in any industry (financial industry would be an asset)
  • ability to multi-task and good problem-solving skills
  • solid understanding of risk and regulatory landscape
  • experience in data science will be an asset
