Your team

UBS Neo is an award-winning digital platform that enables UBS businesses and developers to rapidly deliver innovative products to our clients and staff. Today, the platform underpins an ecosystem of over 100 apps, 2m users and a community of over 500 engineers, with significant growth expected over the next few years as we develop the next generation of the platform.

You will be joining a high-performing, multi-disciplinary agile team within the UBS Investment Bank that works in close partnership with the business and delivers to production on a frequent basis. You will also be working closely with the wider Neo developer community in order to identify opportunities to extend the platform capabilities, collaborate on projects and deliver state-of-the-art solutions.

Your expertise

You have:

• expert level hands-on knowledge on Core Java, multi-threading, concurrency utilities.
• strong hands-on development experience in Python, ML, AI.
• to be responsible for development related to AI and Machine learning.
• actively coding applications in Python with available libraries for the AI techniques.
• experience in (Preferably Azure) Cloud development (API Microservices)
• strong knowledge of object oriented programming concepts and principles
• knowledge of high-quality professional software engineering practices for agile software development cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and deployment
• fundamental knowledge of design patterns
• experience with web services (REST) and messaging systems.
• fluency with UNIX command line tools.
• knowledge of cloud technologies (Kubernetes, Docker)
• experience in communicating effectively with users, other technical teams, and management to collect requirements, describe software product features, and technical designs
• passionate about building great solutions
• being able to understand and relate technology integration scenarios and be able to apply these learnings in complex troubleshooting scenarios
