Your team

UBS Evidence Lab is the most experienced global team of alternative data experts. We’re a collection of data and software engineers, quantitative market researchers, social media experts, data pricing whizzes, and more. This diversity allows us to look at problems from differing perspectives and turn data into evidence.
You’ll be working closely with various Data Analyst teams, which are a part of a street-leading primary research platform called Evidence Lab. Your role will be focused on ability to systematically analyze and build statistical and machine learning models on companies and markets that Evidence Lab does research on. Your main goal is to give insights for better business decisions. Our office is located in Wuxi, China.

Your expertise

• 1+ years of experience in a Data Science or Data Analytics role,
• Practical knowledge of statistical and econometric techniques: time series (stationarity), clustering, regression (ARIMA), feature selection, model training/tuning/evaluation,
• Solid programming skills in Python or R including knowledge of libraries used for data science,
• Basic understanding of SQL,
• Ability to deliver under time pressure and work independently,
• Good English skills- written and oral.
