• set up and grow Data Scientists consultants team in Nashville for GIC Emerging Solutions
• lead, consult and implement digital transformation initiatives across all business functions considering the latest technological trends
• partner with leadership team to build awareness, assess opportunities for new technologies and maximize value/impact of the function
• build trust and strong working relationships with Business and Technology stakeholders
• push forward the capabilities and performance of our team to strengthen and expand the service offering of the unit which aligns with the business needs for today and the future

Group Internal Consulting (GIC) is UBS's internal consultant unit. We are a driven and diverse team with over 750 people present in 5 regions across the globe. As part of the our Group Transformation Office (GTO), we work in close partnership with all divisions and functions to drive transformation and change across UBS, supporting the firm in achieving its strategic goals.

Our focus is on delivering high quality services, with fast onboarding, while leveraging institutional knowledge. Your expertise

• ideally 3+ years of proven track record of team leadership / line manager experience
• ideally 5+ years of consulting experience with a prominent or boutique consulting firm, maintaining a focus on project management in digital transformation and emerging technologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in related fields such as computer science, operations, engineering, data science, statistics, etc. (advanced degree a plus)
• analytical background with strong critical thinking and complex problem-solving skills
• project management experience including stakeholder management, clear communication (verbal & written), prioritization, and effective presentation delivery
• collaborative and agile mindset with a passion for continuous learning
• eager to participate in the end-to-end solutions lifecycle, from identifying new UBS clientele to handover of a developed solution
• experience in one or more of the following areas: Digital Transformation, Artificial Intelligence, Advanced Analytics, Cognitive Automation, Business Intelligence or Data Visualization
• hands on in any of these tools or programming languages: Alteryx, Tableau, Python, SQL, Power BI
• knowledge in any of these tools is a plus: Azure, Dataiku, Workfusion, Hadoop, R, re:infer, Teneo, Amelia
