The Manager, Data Analytics is a member of Business Intelligence & Optimization Services, within RMD Legal Contracts & Compliance (LCC) – Global Ethics & Compliance (GEC) organization.

The successful candidate will manage the development and maintenance of data analytic & business intelligence, supports the development of metrics and reports; develop solutions in SharePoint, Power BI, Tableau; collaborate with Enterprise Services, GEC Practice Areas and workstream SMEs; assist with identifying risk, opportunities for process improvement and solicit functional requirements. This role reports to the Associate Director, Digital & Data Transformation.

This position is currently designated as fully remote. However, the successful candidate will be required to work from one of the 50 U.S. states (excluding U.S. Territories).

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

  • Analyze data to better understand potential risks, concerns and outcomes that could impact the business.
  • Conduct advanced analysis utilizing visualization tools, network theory and data science analysis of security data to predict compliance risk.
  • Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop solutions in SharePoint, Power BI, and/or Tableau.
  • Identify, monitor, analyze, and evaluate data to provide a comprehensive assessment.
  • Develop processes, procedures, and notifications to create robust data analytical solutions.
  • Conducts statistical analysis and operational analysis to identify and follow trends, and provide actionable insights to the business

Qualifications you must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, data sciences, statistics, math, or similar discipline
  • Minimum of 8 years of Data Analysis, Data Science, Business Intelligence experience or other related experience
  • Previous experience with SharePoint, reporting and utilizing visualization software specifically, Tableau, Power BI
  • Experience with Agile methodology and SAFE practices, along with relational database experience to include SQL.
  • Experience building data analytic procedures and processes.
  • Previous experience providing leadership briefings and experienced presenter

Qualifications We Value:

  • An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for additional years of experience as follows: Master’s is equal to 2 years of experience, or a Ph.D. is equal to 4 years of experience.
  • Working with solution providers to integrate a solution into an existing environment.
  • Knowledge of Global Trade and Ethics and Compliance tools, processes, and policies. Solid understanding of data structures and architecture, along with a broad understanding of IT, business processes, and business intelligence methodology
  • Knowledge and use of a variety of machine learning techniques (clustering, decision tree learning, artificial neural networks) and their real-world advantages/disadvantages
  • Python knowledge, Object Oriented language knowledge
  • Knowledge and use of advanced statistical techniques and concepts (regression, properties of distributions, statistical tests, and proper usage) and experience with applications.

The salary range for this role is 94,000 USD - 196,000 USD; however, Raytheon Technologies considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company’s performance.
