Raytheon Technologies Corporate Headquarters is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join the Enterprise Application Services team as Application Factory Insights Data Manager. The Application Factory initiative is an Optimus-funded, application transformation program to orchestrate, design, plan and deliver on application retirements, migrations & cloud transformations in support of both achieving merger synergies & building a simpler, more future-ready application portfolio.

Central to the success the Application Factory program is the understanding of where we are in relation to our overall retirement, transformation and migration outcomes/objectives by 2024. This role will be the creator of processes to collect, analyze, and report data as it relates to status/risks within each of the Application Factory areas. The Insights Data Manager is the key data steward and will work in collaboration with each App Factory area/team.

This position will require a strong understanding of technologies, processes and ability to collect/analyze data across an entire organization. The chosen candidate will be central to how we collect data and report out progress towards our outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Establish a process to collect data related to retirements, cloud transformation and DC migrations
• Collaborate with App Factory team members to determine retirement, transformation, and migration metrics that will be rolled up to Enterprise Application Services, Optimus Apps PMO, and the TMO
• Work with all areas of the App Factory (Enablement, Execution, Excellence, AMS Deliver, QA, and UX) to have data/status of outcomes updated at all times
• Leverage automation/tools for data collection and analysis while removing process inefficiencies
• Identify and raise any risks related to achieving Optimus outcomes internally and provide recommendations on mitigations/solutions

Experience/Qualifications:

• 3+ years within data analytics and reporting or other relevant experience
• Strong collaboration skills with ability to maintain effective working relationships while managing expectations
• Experience with various types of data metric and status reporting software (Workboard, Jira, Confluence, Qlike, Tableau, etc.)
• Experience with data collection, analysis, and governance
• Understanding of full software development lifecycle, deployment and architecture
• Strong quality, time and scope management within IT realm
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills that are relatable to all levels
• Adaptability and multi-tasking; experience working in a fast-moving environment
• Diligent, disciplined, reliable and strives for highest quality work product
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Proficient with SQL tools for collecting, sorting and analyzing large quantities of data

Education:

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Management of Information Systems, or related business discipline(s) or equivalent years of related experience
