What you’ll be doing:

• Create and maintain an effective partnership with supply chain leaders
• Collaborate on cross-functional teams, both across the supply chain as well as across Staples overall
• Build out our knowledge base and relevant analytics across warehousing, distribution, and strategic perspectives to be shared with functional owners and leadership
• Utilize problem-solving skills to manage projects and be held accountable for the results

What you bring to the table:

• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to understand and articulate principals of Supply Chain Management including operational flow of a warehouse, trucking, last mile delivery and economic drivers for a Supply Chain
• Strong analytical capabilities with ability to distill analyses into strategic insights
• Ability to read and comprehend of technical/financial materials and reports
• Demonstrated responsibility, maturity, and leadership ability
• A sense of urgency required to work in a deadline driven environment
• Eagerness and ability to learn and absorb new information quickly
• Demonstrated experience working as a team player as well as an individual contributor

Qualifications :

What’s needed- Basic Qualifications:

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Supply Chain, Logistics, Economics, or related field preferred.

What’s needed- Preferred Qualifications:

• Basic understanding of inventory management practices, supply chain practices, replenishment, transportation, distribution and fulfillment operations, logistics systems and processes, productivity standards, and technology preferred
