Job Description

This role requires native-level proficiency in Norwegian and good knowledge of C/C++ and Computer Science fundamentals. It does not require any prior experience in Automated Speech Recognition (ASR), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Natural Language Processing (NLP), or Artificial Intelligence (AI). You don’t need to tick every box from the onset.

Your work will directly contribute to a revolution in the way people interact with the devices around them: by speaking naturally.

In this role you will:

• Leverage your creativity, your C/C++ skills, and your ability to become proficient in a new programming paradigm
• Decompose the Norwegian language into reusable components
• Collaborate with an international team of talented developers
• Implement, maintain, and scale non-trivial functionality end-to-end, solving algorithmic and design challenges

We would love to hear from you if:

• You possess a native or bilingual level of the Norwegian language
• You have excellent coding skills in C/C++
• You are familiar with a scripting language like Python, LUA, Javascript, or bash
• You are comfortable working in a Linux environment
• You are eager to learn and comfortable asking questions proactively
• You have good interpersonal skills and like to provide support to your colleagues

We would be especially excited to hear from you if you speak further languages beyond Norwegian and English, have experience manipulating large amounts of data, generating code, or using text relevance algorithms.
