Job Description

• Delivery of data science projects in digital manufacturing at production level
• Preparation of requirements analysis and collection of data
• Provision of the solution architecture
• Creation of custom deep learning models based on open-source tools with a focus on computer vision

your profile

• Completed studies in mathematics, statistics, data science, computer science or a similar subject
• Several years of professional experience (3+ years) as a data scientist or in the field of digital manufacturing
• Experience with AI in the cloud, preferably Azure (AWS, Google Cloud)
• Very good knowledge of Python and/or R
• Basic knowledge in areas such as Big Data, data analysis and data storage systems (SQL/NoSQL Database, Data Lake)
• Very good knowledge of German and English
• Ability to work in a team and convincing communication skills
• Excellent analytical skills and a proactive way of working
• Openness to possible international project assignments

The following skills would be beneficial

• Experience in digital manufacturing or in the production sector
• Experience in IoT and Industry 4.0 in project work
• Knowledge of using BI and data visualization tools (PowerBI, Tableau)
• Experience in (partial) project management

Our company is subject to the collective agreement for employees in information and consulting. An annual target salary of between EUR 55,000 and EUR 95,000 gross is offered with overpayment in line with the market, depending on qualifications and experience.
