Job Description

Being experienced Data Scientist who is energetic and curious, who will help us discover the information hidden in vast amounts of data, and help the stakeholders make smarter decisions. Your primary focus will be in applying data mining techniques, doing statistical analysis, and building high quality ML / DL algorithms as well leading project initiatives that are focused on delivering data science solutions to the clients across the world. What this means :

• At least 4+ years of experience in the data science / analytics domain
• Proven problem solver – the ability to come up with unique solutions to unique problems in dynamic environment
• Broad knowledge of Machine Learning topics (clustering, forecasting, classification, anomaly detection)
• Strong statistics background
• Ability to translate complex technical aspects into business language
• Communication skills are key in this one as you'll be dealing mainly with external stakeholders (clients) on the daily basis
• Excellent interpersonal skills, able to engage effectively with all stakeholders at all levels,
• Experience in using statistical software, scripting languages, and packages (any of them) as Python, R, Matlab, SAS, Scala, Pearl, Caffe, SAP Predictive Analytics, IBM Analytics, KXEN, Apache Airflow etc.)
• Experience in managing data science projects and advice clients (previous exposure for client-facing services or consulting practices is a big plus).
• Experience in managing/leading team, previous acting as a lead/point of contact/coordinator.
• Architectural / feature knowledge of at least one or more of the listed AI Platforms: Google Cloud Platform; Amazon Web Services; Microsoft Azure; Salesforce Einstein; Adobe Sensei
• Knowledge of platforms such as Alteryx/Dataiku (with focus on ML/predictive analytics modules) is a plus.
• Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills (technical and non-technical).
• Team-play and good communications skills (good English is a must, good German / French / Spanish is a plus)
• Willingness to travel within Europe

• For the client – act as a single point of responsibility over any delivery related matters, including escalations, upsells, ramp-downs, etc
• Accountable for the technical leadership regarding the delivery. Ensuring a sound and future-proof architecture is planned and the implementation meets the technical quality standards
• Build up delivery plan along with estimations on timeframes, quality and quantity of resources required to successfully deliver projects
• Establish a strategy of continuous delivery risk management that enables proactive decisions and actions throughout the delivery life cycle
• Work as a team member or lead others team members in data science projects across various industry sectors in multiple skills set-up and with multiple geography involved.
• Manage the operational reporting service of SLA/KPI and data science activities within company or directly for the Client
• Manage the project scope and objective, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
• Participate in initiatives and solution offering creations in the data science areas.
• Feature selection, model building and optimizing classifiers / regressors, etc. using machine learning techniques. Develop Models using open source packages e.g. Python and R.
• Prepare workshop for requirement gathering and developing solutions.
• Work to design and develop analytical/ data mining/ machine learning/deep learning models as part of data science solutions.
• Design and build an end-to-end prototype data science solution to a business problem in any specific sector/ function, more specific to any manufacturing and asset intensive industry domains.
• Process, cleans, and verify the integrity of data used for analysis.
• Use state-of-the-art methods for data mining and performing EDAs.
• Help enhance data collection procedures to include information that is relevant for building analytical systems.
• Doing ad-hoc analysis and presenting results in a clear manner.
