Job Description

The AMI department has the expertise to apply deep knowledge of machine learning approaches and other artificial intelligence techniques, learned and refined in human language technologies, to the complex problems faced by our current and future customers. We are seeking creative and talented leaders and researchers to join us in our research and development efforts.

We combine deep knowledge of linguistic structures with state-of-the-art deep learning approach to find critical patterns in language to help in translation, event extraction, and profile generation. We apply this knowledge in challenging tasks: finding and summarizing key information in multi-lingual corpora, understanding the relations between world events, predicting future events, and generating multiple interpretations of real-world situations. We develop solutions for diverse domains including situational awareness of kinetic operations, behavior characteristics, socio-political events, and intelligence analysis.

In this age of automation and intelligence systems, we apply neuro-symbolic techniques (i.e. semantic technologies and deep neural networks) to understand the characteristics of autonomous systems and devise ways to combine them in unique ways to achieve the objectives of the battlefield commanders. We serve the intelligence community with new ways to discover patters from complex operations and determine the subtle signals that indicate anomalous events. Our technologies have dual use applicability, serving several commercial sectors such as financial, business intelligence, air traffic controllers, remote training, and media analytics.
