The Enterprise Intelligent Automations Program is currently searching for a manager role serving as a Data Analyst.  The ideal candidate is a highly motivated and proven technology professional who will leverage and expand on existing frameworks to drive insights across the automations program. They will help establish standards and execute to acquire, consolidate, and operationalize data with a focus on data quality, data integration and data analytics. This position will also have a focus on advancing data literacy and data science skills, including machine learning. 

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for maintaining and expanding the program metrics reporting, including model development for forecasting and value prediction
  • Collaborate closely with the product manager and value, delivery, and operations areas to consistently deliver data products that meet changing requirements to drive effective decision making
  • Manage data governance across the program platforms and tools, and improve levels of service and usability of the datasets
  • Proven experience in data analytics including experience in advanced analytics, and data engineering for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources
  • Establish standards and expand on service offerings with data feeds and analytics offerings to internal customers
  • Partner with automations team on RPA and BPM opportunities to support data integration, machine learning and advanced analytics
  • Support statistical problem solving and model development
  • Seek out different ways to use current and relevant technological advances
  • Participate in broader digital projects in order to assess impact and drive necessary activities within automations (ie – system integrations, data center consolidations)
  • Acts as a role model for all RTX sponsored initiatives (e.g., health safety and CORE).
  • Collaborate and work effectively in a team environment, build a cross-business network, collaborate across multiple lines of business and functions.

Basic Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree and 7 years of prior relevant experience OR 
  • Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 4 years of experience
  • Experience developing using visualization tools, such as: Qlik, Tableau
  • Significant experience in SQL or SQL-like languages
  • Familiarity with project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Proficiency with common data science languages, such as: Python, R.
  • Demonstrated experience with Machine Learning tools, such as: Databricks, Dataiku, Alteryx
  • Demonstrated experience with .net & SQL
  • Experience with version control and agile development practices, and tools, such as: Github, Jira
  • Demonstrated excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to solve critical problems on-the-fly with targeted execution in decision-making
