Job Description

As a CBRE Business Intelligence Sr. Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting advanced research, data mining,

reporting and interpretation of company performance metrics.

This job is part of the Data Science & Analytics job function. They are responsible for reviewing data that supports

improving effectiveness and predicting outcomes to develop business intelligence.

What You’ll Do:

• Generate and review reports using aggregate data from multiple sources to assist in creating a complete evaluation, improvement, or recommendation.
• Review the accuracy of information provided and respond to escalated requests from management and vendors.
• Understand and work with advanced scenario planning tools and models. Investigate new trends in general business conditions.
• Identify opportunities for large improvements among the clients and company.
• Work with personnel from other departments and information technology groups to facilitate successful project implementations.
• Review the maintenance and reporting of benchmarks and performance metrics.
• Act as subject matter expert for key systems and processes and day-to-day functions.
• Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems.
• Have a broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function.
• Lead by example and model behaviors consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement.
• Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
• Work primarily within standardized procedures and practices to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Explain complex information to others in straightforward situations.

What You’ll Need:

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 2-5 years of relevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
• Understanding of existing procedures and standards to solve slightly complex problems.
• Ability to analyze possible solutions using technical experience to apply appropriate judgment and precedents.
• In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
• Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate’s education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Business Intelligence Sr Analyst position is $95,000.00 annually [or $45.67 per hour] and the maximum salary for the Business Intelligence Sr Analyst position is $104,500.00 annually [or $50.24 per hour]. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate’s skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE’s applicable benefit program.
