In the Data Intelligence department at CBRE, we are currently looking for a Data Analyst to leverage our product portfolio and to develop new data driven solutions to address new business challenges of our clients.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

The real estate market is undergoing a significant and exciting change – driven by data and technology. The main focus of this position will be analyzing Real Estate data across all sectors.

The role will establish a relationship with the local business lines as well as with the European Data Intelligence team.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Taking a leading role on data driven projects under the Data Intelligence department.
  • Partner with other department teams on strategic data initiatives.
  • Develop and implement web scraping, data mining and text mining processes to automate the collection of a wide range of data that feeds the research databases
  • Automate manual tasks and reports by making intelligent use of available ETL and dashboarding solutions
  • Design and build machine learning models; build and deploy predictive models.
  • Provide data-driven input into CBRE Thought Leadership agenda, identifying opportunities according to new trends and data analysis strategies

WHAT CAN YOU OFFER US?

  • Masters in STEM or related disciplines;
  • 2 to 5 years professional work experience as a data analyst or on advanced analytics / statistics projects;
  • Advanced knowledge of the following technologies: Alteryx, Python, SQL;
  • Hands-on experience with data modeling, ETL and data processing/warehousing;
  • Hands-on experience building and implementing Web Scraping and Text Mining processes;
  • Knowledge in predictive models using machine learning algorithms;
  • Advanced knowledge of reporting tools such as Tableau or Power BI and enjoy converting data into valuable insights;
  • You think in terms of optimism, opportunities and innovation;
  • Ability to set and manage priorities judiciously;
  • Good communication skills - written and verbal - and fluency, both in Portuguese and in English.
