Job Description

At Starcom_ Bogotá we are looking for a Data Science, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in the same role. with training in exact sciences such as: Statistics/Mathematics/Engineering. among other. With solid knowledge of Python and libraries such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn. Experience in managing Microsoft SQL Server relational databases. Skills in descriptive statistics. You will work in an agile environment, collaborating closely with team members applying Scrum methodologies.

Responsibilities:

• Collection, cleaning and preparation of target data for analysis, based on documentation shared by various sources/suppliers.

• Analysis, interpretation and communication of the findings of the exploratory phase with project managers, stakeholders, etc.

• Identification of patterns according to the requirement of the assigned project. ▪ In ML projects, identify the most accurate algorithms to obtain results in accordance with the applicant's requirements.

• In projects that involve databases, ensure the generation and documentation of data consumption ETLs. ▪ Guarantee the quality of the generated source code.

• Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders

Requirements

Minimum skills:

• Advanced use of Python: programming, generation of algorithms, implementation of ML libraries.

• Experience in managing large volumes of data using tools such as Pandas, Numpy, Scikit-Learn, PyCaret.

• Knowledge of statistics applied to business problems. ▪ Knowledge of TS-SQL / ANSI SQL

• Knowledge of MS SQL Server

• Knowledge of working with RESTful APIs.

• Competent understanding of compatibility issues between data formats and character encoding in text files, JSON.

• Management of code version control tools
