Job Description

Your to-do list:

• Design and development of predictive and classification ML models, using data models prepared by fellow Data Engineers, and subsequently using the results of the models for further analysis and insights;
• Collaboration between different units of the extended Data Science group (Strategy, BI, MAT);
• Coordinate the activity of junior modellers and statisticians;
• Direct relations with the internal and external customer (on-site presence is not required).

Publicis Media is looking for a Senior Data Scientist for its Milan offices!

Qualifications

If in your past experience:

• Experience (3+ years) in the role of Data Scientist;
• Excellent knowledge of statistics;
• Knowledge of ML techniques (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, k-NN, Naïve Bayes, SVM, etc);
• Knowledge of the main programming languages ??(R, Python, SPSS, SAS, etc.);
• Excellent interpersonal skills and customer orientation;
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have the knowledge and experience of:

• Cloud Computing Platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP);
• Code versioning management (GIT);
• Big Data Technology (Apache Spark, Hadoop).

If you are:

• Ability to plan, organize, manage time and prioritize tasks;
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers;
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and standard accepted practices;
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated and able to work in a team.
