The UX/UI team have a passion for simplicity while solving complex problems, user-centered design, data concepts, data visualization, and Agile development. The team works alongside our product team to deliver innovative, simple user experience for marketing technology, big data and data visualization.

Qualifications

Required Skills And Qualifications

• Must have design portfolio links on resume or application that show dashboard design and/ or infographic/information design layouts.
• 5-10 years of working experience as an Information/dashboard Designer
• Proficiency with Adobe CC, Sketch, Figma, Power BI
• Strong understanding of visualization tools such as Power BI and D3
• Strong, effective interpersonal and communication skills (written, verbal, and listening)
• Experience working with data visualizations, data concepts, business intelligence and/or ad tech. 
• Experience in creating strong data stories.
• Experience working with development and engineering teams in an agile environment. 
• A proven ability to learn quickly in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Skills

• Knowledge of best practices for digital user accessibility
• Knowledge of CSS, HTML, responsive design, other front-end technologies also a plus 
• Intellectual curiosity and drive; self-starters will thrive in this position. 
• A formal education in Information Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, User Experience, or related field

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Annalect is looking for an Information Designer to join our UX/UI team. Applicants should have a passion for simplicity while solving complex problems, user-centered design, data concepts, data visualization, and Agile development. You will be working within our UX/UI design team and working alongside our product team to deliver refined, clear data narratives in dashboards that offer enterprise user experience.

As the Information Designer you will be responsible for the overall data dashboard experience. The data we work with is challenging and complex, and you will need to use your design skills to analyze, synthesize, and realize complex data narratives as well your UI skills to present these solutions in a clear, clean, and intuitive manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review & discuss with product/stakeholder to discover both business and user needs.
• Collaborate to define the data narrative.
• Design engaging and intuitive dashboard designs as well as templates of dashboard/visualization layouts for reuse.
• Create wireframes, high-fidelity mocks to illustrate solutions as needed. 
• Present ideas to product owners and stakeholders through whiteboarding, demos, walkthroughs 
• Work with other designers to define and maintain visualization/app visual standards and design patterns.
• Work with developers to support the realization of ideas and solutions within the Power Bi environment.
• Work with the QA to validate development and user acceptance criteria

Compensation Range: $105,000 to $150,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on

 relevant experience, other job-related qualifications/skills, and geographic location (to account for comparative cost of living)
