Team Overview:

The Marketing Science Team is a group of individuals who bring a suite of solutions to one of our industry’s most coveted clients. This is a tenured team of motivated people who are service-focused and always learning. Key focus areas of this group are Marketing Mix Modelling and Multi-touch Attribution. This highly visible team works closely with other Omnicom agency domain experts to support their data-related needs and assists in presenting strategic insights and results.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a quantitative data driven field, media, or another relevant field
  • Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Information Management, Social Sciences or Business/Marketing related fields
  • Advanced Excel skills (Vlookups, Pivot Tables, Macros, and other advanced functions)
  • Familiarity with machine learning techniques such as clustering, classification, and regression
  • Strong knowledge with SQL; advanced user of R/Python
  • Experience with delivering and operationalizing reporting solutions for clients
  • Excellent communication skills

Preferred

  • Understanding of marketing mix modeling/multi-touch attribution/econometric analysis and/or other branches of market research (custom survey research, advertising testing or tracking, new product research, etc.)
  • Familiarity with at least some of the following tools: marketing technology (e.g., Data Management Platforms), ad-serving (e.g., Google DCM, Atlas), web analytics (e.g., Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), social (e.g., Facebook Insights, Twitter Insights, Crimson Hexagon)
  • Experience with advanced data management programs (SQL, Access, etc.)
  • Experience with other coding languages (Java, R, Python, etc.)
  • Knowledge and experience with syndicated research sources/tools (e.g., ComScore, Nielsen, GfK MRI, Simmons, etc.)
  • Prior agency experience
  • Passion for mentoring and coaching others

Responsibilities

Position Overview:

Annalect Marketing Science team is looking for an experienced, self-motivated Senior Analyst with excellent statistical modeling skills and a proven record in conducting disaggregated attribution, customer journey and media campaign analyses. Ideal candidates should have strong background in media and advertising and have currently/previously worked at a highly dynamic and agile environment.

You will be working with a team of highly talented and experienced data science professionals that understands the ins and outs of our proprietary data platform and techniques required to perform multi-touch attribution analysis. Additionally, you will interact with data from diverse sources and clients and learn how to tie that information together into effective recommendations for our clients, media, and digital activation teams. 

As a Senior Analyst on the Marketing Science (MS) team, you will be tasked with aiding in the transformation of vast data sets into compelling and actionable insights. You will work with the team to handle client’s requests, to work closely with internal cross-agency teams to support their needs, and to collect data from clients and internal teams, clean and organize, and create statistical models. You will also summarize, explore, and analyze all components of the data - including understanding the data generating process - to develop and communicate an opinion about what it means and how it affects our clients.

Key Responsibilites:

  • Translate data into clear, compelling, and actionable insights by leveraging advanced analytics tactics
  • Develop a series of analytics reports and findings delivered to the marketing clients monthly
  • Perform ad-hoc quantitative analyses at the client’s request and manage client expectations including Attribution Models, Marketing Mix Models, etc.
  • Evaluate data and research/analytics vendors for client needs or as they approach clients
  • Work with third party research/analytics vendors to design and set up projects for clients
  • Communicate findings and insights to internal and external stakeholders in professional manner
  • Identify problems and propose solutions to tackle client’s concerns
  • Ensure timely follow through on all scheduled and ad hoc deliverables
