We are deploying more and more complex distributed systems. The complexity makes it more challenging to set up the right monitoring rules so that we receive the right alerts in time, for example in the event of burglary attempts and system failures. In addition, we also notice that when an alert is generated, we have to look for the correct information to solve the problem. It would be very useful for our platform engineers if they spent less time setting up the alerts properly and the alerts were more actionable.
We would like to use machine learning to detect special behavior such as malfunctions and burglary attempts. We then want to use ChatGPT or another language model to generate an actionable alert.
