Join a new and exciting opportunity to protect national security and provide premier mission focused IT services for a dynamic and growing program. Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Artificial Intelligence to join our team in Ft. Meade, Maryland.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Produces high quality, professional, and innovative solutions to complex and technologically advanced AI problems.
• Recognized as an AI expert by peers and customers.
• Works on the forefront of new AI Technologies.
• Works individually or as part of a team.
• Reviews and tests software components for adherence to the design requirements and documents test results.
• Resolves software problem reports. Utilizes software development and software design methodologies appropriate to the development environment.
• Provides specific input to the software components of system design to include hardware/software tradeoffs, software reuse, use of Commercial Off-the-shelf (COTS)/Government Off-the-shelf (GOTS) in place of new.

NOTE: Multiple levels of seniority are available dependent on qualifications/experience.

Basic Qualifications:

• Develops and executes cutting-edge research programs to create and then experimentally prove innovative and effective solutions to complex AI technical problems.
• Directs a team of engineers and/or scientists to implement solutions to complex AI technical problems.
• Develops and executes cutting-edge research programs to create and then experimentally prove innovative and effective solutions to complex AI technical problems.
• Directs a team of engineers and/or scientists to implement solutions to complex AI technical problems.
• Lead, mentor, and enable science and technology SMEs of all levels to develop greater expertise in solving complex AI problems.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fifteen (15) years' experience and a bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) or thirteen (13) years' and a master's degree or ten (10) years and a PhD.

Security Clearance Requirements:

• Current/Active TS/SCI

Physical Requirements:

• Sedentary work, speaking, standing, talking, walking, working with computers, working with data, working with numbers and figures, ability to handle stress & work under pressure, ability to use MS Office and a PC, analytical or critical thinking skills, leadership and listening skills, multi-tasking, ability, negotiating skills, oral & written communication skills, presentation skills, project management ability and skills, computer operating skills, and team building skills
