Job Description

ManTech is seeking a Data Engineer (Palantir) to join our team in supporting SOCOM in New York, NY (Manhattan)

This position requires an active DoD Secret, TS/ SCI security clearance preferred

General Responsibilities:

• Work closely with engineers on the team as well as interfacing with the Product Development team.
• Support Palantir production footprint and work with Palantir Dev to troubleshoot issues,
• Write and maintain enterprise data integration pipelines and manage large technical projects, including scoping work, interfacing with other teams, and delegating to other engineers.
• Other duties as assigned.

Mandatory Required Skills:

• Active Secret clearance required but TS/SCI clearance preferred
• Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years’ experience (5 years’ experience w/o degree)
• Strong engineering background, preferred in fields such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Software Engineering, Physics, and Data Science
• Experience or interest in working with and using large scale data to solve valuable business problems.
• Proficiency with one or more programming languages, such as Python, Java, C++, TypeScript/JavaScript, or similar.
• Do proactive outreach and engagement with user groups
• Provide clear and consistent communications both externally and internally with ability to communicate user feedback and onsite signal back to leadership
• Troubleshoot technical issues onsite and communicate with engineering team/NOC

Preferred Skills/Experience:

• Experience with either Palantir, Gotham or Foundry preferred, but not necessary

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50%
