Job Description

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement data management strategies that meet our business needs.
  • Develop and maintain data models, data dictionaries, and other data-related documentation.
  • Collaborate with IT and business teams to ensure that data is collected, stored, and processed in a secure and compliant manner.
  • Develop and implement data quality and data governance processes.
  • Create and manage data pipelines using big data technologies.
  • Conduct data analysis and provide insights that drive business decisions.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that visualize data for business stakeholders.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data management and analysis.
  • Qualifications:
  • 7-10 years of experience in data management, big data, data lake implementation & data analysis, and proficiency in SQL.
  • Proficient in SQL, Oracle, Vertica, Elastic Search (ES) - read and write queries.
  • Experience in Data Management concepts including data governance, data domains, data lineage, metadata and/or data quality.
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, data science, or related field.
  • Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or Kafka.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with database management systems such as MySQL, Oracle, or SQL Server.
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or QlikView.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of data governance and regulatory requirements is a plus.
  • Knowledge of the following would be a plus:
    • Pentaho
    • Denodo
    • Power BI
    • Snowflake
