Job Description

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop machine learning solutions to generate forecast baseline for all AP countries, work including outlier detection, historic data alignment, model training and selection, result evaluation.
• Exploring new models, improve machine learning with enhanced models to incorporate new business situation, multiple external and internal factors to deliver better forecast.
• Build data analytics insight with analytics tools like Python to support calculation or automation in big scale on supply chain segmentation, car pull calculation, forecast accuracy measures, production scheduling analysis and inventory optimization.
• Develop data visualization capability by leveraging tools like Tableau to drive review and improvement in forecasting improvement, inventory optimization, supply planning process improvement.
• Leveraging operations research algorithm like Mix Integer linear programming to explore and build supply chain optimization model for production planning and scheduling.
• Provide algorithm support for digital planning system of record proof of concept and implementation.
• Work with process solutions and IT team to build supply chain data lake in solutions like Snowflake and cloud based technology solutions, build views and calculation templates for data extraction and analysis.

Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: 

• Algorithm, machine learning, statistical forecasting models, Cloud-based technology, big data
• Expert programming skills in Python or a general programming language
• Data querying skills in SQL
• Communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of business problems and technical solutions in supply chain
