Job Description

 Support Data & Analytics Director to drive digital assets effectiveness and efficiency in conjunction with Google Analytics/ Optimization 360 and other digital (Agencies/ external data/ partners) collaboration.

- On top of bringing business insights through analytics, further driving business actions/results by leveraging the digital assets collaboration from solution design, business review meetings with internal and external clients deriving requirements/deliverables, reception and processing of data, performing analyses and bringing business insights to final reports/presentations, communication of results and implementation support.

- Demonstrate data value creation to internal and external stakeholders of the data-driven approach to understand our customer segments, digital usage/ pattern, health-related interests, purchase needs/ preference so as to maximize business opportunities.

- Lead the team to deliver big data analytics and data visualization solutions to give business insights, including data capture, data enhancement, data cleansing – with internal / external data management capability to enable quality analytics

- Take the SME role of on customer digital journey strategic consulting, needs assessments, project scoping and the preparation/presentation of analytical proposals.

 - Effectively present business insights and proposal gained from data analytics to senior management for business decision making

  1. I) Data analytics and Insights into Business actions/ results
  • Create compelling business actions proposal to explain to the business units the main insights of data analytics on the topics about Customer Segmentation, Persona Analysis, Digital Journey and Behavior, Customer Lifetime Value, Customer nurturing and purchase behavior reinforcement
  • Identify customer segments to optimize the performance of App/ Website penetration, cross sell and upsell opportunities for business growth
  • Drive digital assets effectiveness and efficiency in conjunction with Google Analytics/ Optimization 360 and other digital (Agencies/ external data/ partners) collaboration
  • Analyze data captured in AXA Emma App/ Websites/ Salesforce/ other digital assets for profiling customers, understand customer behavior, increase app adoption, identify business opportunities and provide better customer experience
  • Explore new potential partners to augment the data driven campaigns for effective business growth. Acquire alternative sources of information, such as social media, blogs, mobile to understand customer behavior and find market opportunities
  • Drive actionable insights, suggest recommendations, and influence the direction of the business of cross functional groups;
  1. II) Data visualization and KPI monitoring
  • Lead the team to perform the big data analytics processes on massive data sets from different data sources in Cloud to develop data visualization ( PowerBI dashboard) to track the results of the implemented initiatives to validate the effectiveness of them and show the financial benefits to the organization
  • Liaise with key business stakeholders to drive KPI agreement and on-going monitoring support

III) Establish best practices of insurance digital data analytics capability

  • Develop best practices of insurance digital data analytics capability and unleash business value from the data captured in Health-related campaigns/ services/ claims history
  • Take the SME role of on customer digital journey strategic consulting, needs assessments, project scoping and the preparation/presentation of analytical proposals.
  • Ability to successfully convey all valuable insights with business action recommendations to senior management through effective presentation
  1. IV) Collaboration with different Business stakeholders, Data Science, Data Management, IT functions
  • Work closely with Business Stakeholders, Data Science, Data management team to provide end-to-end data analytics/ science solutions to create business values
  • Collaborate with IT / Data Scrum team on the technical discussion on Cloud data pipeline and solution delivery
  1. V) Team Training and Management
  • Cultivate the skills and knowledge of digital data analytics and digital journey to the team through training and coaching
  • Accelerate the growth of the team data capability and its business influence
  • Strong leadership experience and ability to design road maps, strategic ideas, and execution of data plans

Your Profile

- Graduate or advanced degree qualifications in quantitative-related subjects (e.g. Business analytics, Statistics, Maths, Engineering, Actuarial etc). PhD or MBA would be an added advantage

- 10+ years of relevant working experience in data analytics / digital transformation to drive solid business growth results ( Leads acquisition and conversion, Cross-selling/ Upselling)

- At least 5 years of managerial experience is preferred

- Good knowledge of digital data analysis, statistical modeling, and data mining techniques & algorithms

- Exposure to all stages of data analytics project lifecycle (identification, extraction, loading, transforming/shaping, analysing, developing and tracking)

- Strong verbal and written communications skills, listening and teamwork skills, and effective presentation skills

- Have experience with Cloud solutions such as Azure, AWS would be a definite advantage

- Previous exposure to / knowledge of the finance industry will be an asset

- Proactive and with a can-do attitude
