Job Description

In close collaboration with the internal customers and BI developers (Azure Analysis Services, SQL), the functional data analysts and the data engineers :

1) Lead your reporting projects:

- Play a supporting role in one or more reporting projects with particular attention to the analysis of and communication about priorities, risks, problems, agendas and results.

- Have conversations with internal customers (executive teams and middle management) to understand how to translate AXA's strategy into relevant indicators and do not hesitate to question them

- Convert those indicators into functional formulas that are clear to a BI developer

- You guarantee that the different players you work with on a project accept these formulas

- Determine your best practices in data processing, building efficient models and using reporting tools.

- Communicate regularly with the business sponsor and all parties involved in the projects, provide regular feedback, updates and presentations.

2) Support the definition and transformation of BI governance

- You initially participate in determining the BI governance within AXA and you think about its implementation together with the team

- You think about the development of a data model 'target' company that is as transversal as possible and can be used for reporting as well as for advanced statistical analysis and artificial intelligence

- Train BI developers and functional analysts on data modeling best practices for reporting , ensuring reuse of models that can be transversal within AXA

- Train you on best practices in needs analysis and the definition of 'SMART' indicators for the 'performance managers'.

- Are you involved in the reflections on the development of a BIG Picture of existing cross-functional resources and the connections that make them easy to use, you also think about the preparation of a reporting glossary and the development of the data glossary and check whether they are accepted by the business.

- Animate the BI community, which brings together users from the decentralized reporting teams to share experiences and help the different BUs converge best practices in data usage and information publishing.

For the BI projects for which you are responsible, you ensure the delivery within the predetermined time and budget, intelligent and relevant visuals that give users a quick and complete understanding of their situation in relation to the business strategy they want to implement.

You participate in the development of AXA in the field of data modeling and BI.

Your Profile

You ideally have a master's degree (quantitative domain) and at least 2 years of experience as a business or functional analyst and a strong interest in data management in a company

• You have the necessary technical knowledge to retrieve, manipulate and present data (SQL, PowerBI, Azure Analysis Services, Excel, PowerApps, others)

You also have knowledge of data modeling standards (dimensional modeling, data warehouse , data marts )

Language skills: you have a basic knowledge of Dutch, French and English.
