As a Power BI Consultant at Avanade, you are a hands-on responsible for outlining the architecture, as well as building visual analytics solutions via dashboarding and other methods using Power BI. The primary responsibility of this role will be to support and guide the business in many dashboard, and analytics data visualisation needs while leading discovery and execution of the same. Key activities will include creating world-class visualisations and insights based on collected client data while working with internal & external clients and the analytics team to drive execution and deliverables.

This role will also be involved in data requirements collection, modelling, design, build, and interpretation which will lead to exceptional visualisations and insights. In this role, you will also possess an inherent sense of creativity and strategic innovative thinking about how to involve other data services in Azure and capabilities of the Power Platform.

You make the difference because

• You have 5+ years of experience as Power BI Consultant to create data-driven, innovative data models & visualisations in Power BI to be used to advance strategic decision making by business stakeholders.
• You have 3+ years of experience using data services in Azure, like Azure Data Lake, Azure Synapse and have an interest in the future evolvements of the recently announced Microsoft Fabric.
• You design and build reports and dashboards with all modern approaches available within Power BI and the Power Platform. Knowledge of Power Apps and Power Automate are a bonus.
• You identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and communicate analysis and findings in a clear, concise manner to internal and external customers.
• You have experience in implementing governance for Power BI reporting for medium to large size organizations.
• You have strong team collaboration and experience working with, and coaching, (remote) teams.
• You have working experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD to govern Power BI.
