Successful candidates who are newly hired to BAE Systems are eligible to receive a sign on bonus of $5,000. Details of this sign on bonus will be provided in the offer letter. Relocation is available for qualified candidates. DC3 positions are hybrid roles. You will be on-site for the first 2-3 weeks for equipment issue, access to resources, and familiarization. After that initial on-site time, anticipate being on-site 3 days per week with flexibility. Candidates need to be located local to the worksite, but will be able to participate in hybrid remote work.
BAE Systems is looking for an experienced Data Engineer to design, develop, build, analyze, evaluate and install database management systems to include database modeling and design, relational database architecture, metadata and repository creation and configuration management. Apply your technical and professional skillsets to prepare system requirements, source analysis and process analyses and design throughout the database implementation. Candidates will comply with government directives, standards, guidelines, and criteria concerning software and systems safety. You will work across several areas to identify user needs and specify solutions in the problem domain while continuing to support the architecture and design process. This is a senior level position; therefore candidates may be assigned responsibility for the management teams and associated staff.
