Job Description

In this position, you will work independently to build analytical models that identify patterns of anomalous behavior in real-world data and inform the identification of attack paths for DoD systems. You will analyze data and requirements collected and developed by your team to build notional cyberattack paths. This is ground-breaking work in the development of analytics and identification of attack paths for threat assessment on DoD weapons systems.

This work provides an exciting opportunity for you to leverage your creativity and ultimately contribute to the soundness of current and future system designs and implementations. You will have an opportunity to merge your skills with that of other data scientists, systems engineers, systems security engineers, and other teammates to ensure the customer’s systems are always mission ready.

You’ll Bring These Qualifications:

• Current TS/SCI with active polygraph will be required

For a Level 2 Data Scientist the following is required:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or computer science)
• Five (5) years of experience analyzing datasets and developing analytics
• Five (5) years of experience programming with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
• A Master’s degree can be substituted for two (2) years of experience
• A PhD can be substituted for three years of experience

For a Level 3 Data scientist the following is required:

• A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, mathematics, operations research, engineering, or computer science)
• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience in two or more of the following: designing/implementing machine learning, data mining, advanced analytical algorithms, advanced statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, or software engineering with data analysis software such as R, Python, SAS, or MATLAB.
• A Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline can be substituted for two (2) years of experience
• A Doctoral Degree from an accredited college or university in a quantitative discipline can be substituted for four (4) years of experience
