Job Description

The Modeling & Analytics Expert is part of the Modeling Delivery Team and will take part of the technical production of modeling projects for the Analytics teams in the CSE region (Central & South Europe countries).

The primary mission is to ensure the delivery of analyses including mainly MMM/MROI (short term), TMROI (short term/long term) and Brand Structures Analysis (Structural Equation Modeling).

In detail, this mission translates into :

  • The need to ensure the quality of models
  • The need to ensure the quality of the data
  • The need to respect constraints of the projects (first and foremost timing and investment)
  • The need to work closely with the Head of Modeling & Analytics to propose and implement the most efficient and relevant technical approaches
  • The need to participate in existing production processes

With 2 to 3 years of experience in the production of modelling projects, the Modeling & Analytics Expert has initial professional experience in the production of ROI projects - ideally the type of approaches mentioned above (MROI/TMROI/BSA).

Above all, the Modeling & Analytics Expert will have a strong background in statistics and/or econometrics, enabling him/her to quickly grasp and master new concepts and methodologies.

In detail, the Modeling & Analytics Expert will be required to handle and increase his/her competence in working with different types of analysis, programming languages and data types (not exhaustive list):

  • Types of analysis: econometric modelling, multivariate regressions, factor analysis, structural equations, AI/Machine learning analysis...
  • Types of software/programming languages: Interstat, SAS, SPSS, R, Python...
  • Types of data: consumer panel data, media investment data, tracker data, distribution data, pricing/promotion data, trade density data, social & search data...

The Modeling & Analytics Expert will work closely with the Modeling Delivery Team who will support him/her as he/she progresses in mastering the approaches put in place but also guarantee the development of his/her skills within Kantar.

He/she will be part of the global Kantar Modeling ecosystem, nurtured by experts at local, regional, EMEA and global levels, including the Hubs.

He/she will have to demonstrate the soft skills essential to the success of his/her various missions, the most important of which being:

  • Adaptability

Finally, the Modeling & Analytics Expert will have to be able to communicate and express him/herself (both orally and in writing) in English in order to be able to work effectively with the rest of the regional teams.
