Job Description

Instagram's Creator Marketing team seeks an experienced individual to drive industry and event programs for the creator audience globally. In this role, you will be responsible for marketing efforts that help digital creators grow their brand and build their business on Instagram. You will be working on setting up our industry marketing function, as well as scaling global programs and campaigns to virtual and in-person events, experiential, thought leadership and more. A high level of communication and project management skills are critical to success in this position, as is a demonstrated ability to work across matrixed, cross-functional teams. Previous experience working across a global org that moves quickly and flexing for the needs of different markets would be ideal. A successful candidate will need to combine strategic-thinking and a hands-on approach to execute on high-impact, high-leverage work. Responsibilities

  • Drive the development and strategy for Instagram’s industry marketing presence and programs.
  • Support go-to-market execution for global campaigns, programs and tentpole moments.
  • Oversee programs and activations in priority markets
  • initiatives that can be localized and used by Partnerships teams to inspire, educate and engage our creator audience.
  • Curate market and global trends that will inform and inspire strategies, teams and global marketing channels.
  • Work with cross-functional counterparts including Partnerships, Sales, Communications and Product to align strategy, programs, messaging and resources.

Minimum Qualifications

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent professional experience
  • 6+ years experience in experiential and event marketing at a media, entertainment or lifestyle brand
  • Background in communicating product/platform information into compelling stories
  • Collaboration and communication skills, with demonstrated experience influencing cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications

  • Integrated marketing and social media marketing experience
  • Experience with localization and working with global teams
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced environment, strong initiative and experience thriving amidst ambiguity
