Job Description

As a Data Scientist Finance Analytics you are responsible for the development of complex Data Science solutions adding value to the core processes of the Rabobank.

You and your job

As a Data Scientist, you will leverage your expertise to drive business decisions through the development and implementation of Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions. Working with complex, large and rich data sources, you will utilize data science technologies to build robust products using the MLOps framework. In this role, you will be part of a collaborative team of experienced Data Scientists and Data Engineers, with end-to-end responsibility for the products.

Practical Examples

• Using ML and client clustering techniques to help front office employees identify the next best product to buy for corporate clients
• Develop and implement a retention model for mortgage clients to increase customer loyalty and reduce churn rate

Facts & Figures

• You work with ~150 other data scientists, data engineers and ML Ops engineers from various backgrounds and 15+ nationalities
• Monthly learning sessions to share ideas and exchange knowledge
• The department has end-to-end responsibility of 10+ ML solutions

You will be part of a very dynamic and international team including highly motivated team members. Within Finance Analytics we create value using advanced analytics solutions to enable data-driven decision making on core banking areas and act as a bridge between multiple departments/data sources.

You and your talent

• Master or PhD degree in a quantitative field
• 3 years of relevant working experience in data science
• Experience with Python/Pyspark, Git and Databricks
• Experience in operationalisation of ML solutions in collaboration with engineers
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure and DevOps practices (CI/CD, Clean Code)
• Wants to get better every day
• Hands-on mentality

This is what we offer you

• A 36-hour workweek with a salary in Scale 8 (between € 3.518 - €4.100) or Scale 9 (between € 4.068 - €4.500) depending on experience
• An extra budget of 10% (scale 8) or 11% (scale 9) of your gross salary to be used at your discretion. Buy extra holiday hours, add more to your pension savings or ask for part of the extra budget to be paid out
• Thirteenth month's salary and 8% holiday allowance
• Hybrid working: we work 1 or 2 days a week from the office
