Techno Functional Lead - Supply Chain Planning

Location: Preferred Bay Area, CA OR anywhere in the U.S. (depending on experience level) 

An exciting opportunity for an IT Solutions Analyst – Supply Chain Planning. In this role, you will front-end supply chain business teams and enable IT strategy, roadmaps and technical solutions. Individual must be able to understand the business drivers and help translate these into solutions.

The Supply Chain Planning solutions analyst selects efficient and appropriate problem solving methods and techniques and is responsible for obtaining solutions to complex information systems problem that may directly impact the company‘s general business operations. Will provides leadership and guidance to other team members.

Responsibilities:

  • This role will work on systems and solutions to support the following business functions in Supply Chain – Sales & Operations planning, Demand planning, Supply planning, Inventory Management.
  • Proactively looks into potential processes or system solution options and drives business and IT investigation into emerging strategic capabilities
  • Ensures functional quality of delivered application capabilities.
  • Requirements gathering, Business Process Mapping and Fit gap analysis
  • Writing functional specification documents for technical components
  • Solution architecture and design
  • Lead and participate in Conference Room Pilots
  • Uses analysis skills to immediately resolve issues and perform root cause analysis to identify and prevent recurrence.
  • Takes part in user meetings and assists in presenting issues and solutions both orally and in writing.
  • Assists colleagues and users in defining acceptance tests for automated systems.
  • May lead cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues.
  • Assists in defining, planning and justifying (in business terms) projects to develop/implement automated components of new or changed processes.
  • Prepares design proposals to reflect cost, time and alternative actions to satisfy existing and future functional needs.
  • Manages project within scope of responsibility.

Job Specifications:

  • BS in Computer Science or MIS or equivalent required, post-graduate degree in Computer Science or Business Administration preferred.
  • 7+ years related work experience preferably in High-Tech companies.
  • Deep functional knowledge of Sales & Operations Planning/IBP, Demand Management, Supply Planning, Inventory Management, Backlog Management.
  • Very good knowledge on product structures, BOM and production models like Build-to-stock, Configure-to-order.
  • Experience in applying AI technologies like Machine Learning, NLP into supply chain use cases. Good knowledge in statistical models.
  • Must have strong experience in Oracle Supply planning systems like Demantra/ASCP. Oracle SCM Cloud (Demand Cloud, Supply Cloud, S&OP Cloud, GOP) experience will be preferred.
  • APICS certification is a plus.
  • Good Understanding of SaaS systems/Cloud technology, APIs, B2B/Integration methods/systems.
  • Good understanding of Oracle PaaS technology.
  • Programming experience in PL/SQL is required. Experience in Java, Python, R is preferred.
  • Ability to consume, assess, and analyze large amounts of data to enhance the planning process and business decisions.
  • Motivated by the opportunity to learn and solve problems and takes initiative to improve processes and systems.
  • Communicate effectively with all levels within the organization, including the business and technical departments and work closely with customers.
  • Work closely with onsite/offshore, matrix teams, managers and executives to ensure the release of high-quality solutions.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the strategic use of process improvements and IT as an enabler of business initiatives and business solutions.
  • Strong ability to collaborate, influence, negotiate and build consensus.

Minimum Salary: $123,750.00

Maximum Salary:$189,750.00
