Job Description

This position is a 10-week internship program that will start June 3rd through August 9th.

This expected to be a remote opportunity, although some on-site work is possible if a candidate is in proximity to one of our 30+ Operating Centers. 

The wage range for this position is $18 - $30, dependent on skills and experience.

The Pitney Bowes Presort Business Analytics team has a continued focus on helping to improve operational performance by using data to tell stories for the business that can have immediate impact. We are seeking interns to assist with these efforts to continually improve the impact our dashboards and reporting, bringing new ideas to our data and working to bring new insights forward for the business with new ways of thinking. This intern will have the opportunity to work with raw data and different technologies, partnering with multiple teams within the business to help create change. We are looking for an enthusiastic, forward-thinking individual to challenge present day and get us into the future with new ideas!

• Analyze current dashboards and look for new ways to improve current storytelling
• Create data visualizations to develop stories and insights for business users
• Assist projects where you will help to analyze data to help drive change
• Partner with team to think beyond current technology and processes and bring new exciting opportunities

Qualifications:

• Students seeking Junior or Senior year of undergraduate or graduate student seeking Business Analytics, Data Science, Business Administration, Economics or Computer Science with specialization in analytics
• Basic to advanced knowledge of business intelligence/analytics and visualization software (Power BI & Streamlit)
• Basic to advanced knowledge of programming/scripting – SQL, Python, Streamlit
• Basic knowledge of IoT data & working with large datasets
• Be a self-starter and independent learner
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to work with business stakeholders
• Must be legally authorized to work in the US. Employer will not sponsor position for employment visa status now or in the future (ex. H-1B)
