Job Description

This position is a 10-week internship program that will start June 3rd through August 9th.

This will be a hybrid/on-site opportunity in the Stamford/Shelton, CT area. 

The wage range for this position is $21 to $24, dependent on skills and experience.

The Pitney Bowes Knowledge Management Services team creates the knowledge that clients use to self-serve on the web or in our apps. We collaborate with our Innovation group to vectorize and embed knowledge articles as prompts for our Generative AI app. We are looking for an intern who is passionate about working with LLMs and would like to help us improve our knowledge base so that we can embed articles that produce accurate answers 100% of the time.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze queries and response that have low accuracy rates.
• Figure out why the answers have a low accuracy rate and propose changes to improve the accuracy.
• Improve and test articles so that they get embedded into prompts and elicit better answers from the LLM.
• Identify where we need new articles so that the LLM can return accurate responses.
• Share findings with a cross-functional team of engineers, service, and knowledge professionals.

Qualifications:

• Major in Computer Science, AI, NLP, Machine Learning +
• Familiarity with knowledge bases and metadata
• Familiarity with prompt engineering
• Writing skills to optimize knowledge for AI
• Search technologies
