The Business Intelligence and Data Analytics team plays a critical role in conducting close-loop data-driven business iterations. As business intelligence specialists and data analysts, our scope of work is not limited to just performance monitoring and reporting, but also in proactively finding actionable insights to help drive high-impact business changes. About the Team:

Analytics Team supports Group President and the rest of the Top Leadership’s initiatives across Shopee, and SeaMoney by closely collaborating with Regional and Local teams on a variety of topics covering two major streams:

• Project-based analytical exercises covering various topics on Top Leadership’s agenda like marketing spend efficiency, macroeconomic implications on risk in consumer lending, and user-level profitability
• Regular Top Leadership analytical support in the form of leadership meetings covering Shopee, and SeaMoney

We are currently looking for Associate or Senior Associate to cover expanding coverage of Shopee and Consumer Lending topics. Key responsibilities would include:

• Perform deep-dives into key aspects of Shopee and/or SeaMoney including financial analysis and more granular data deep dives
• Coordinate analysis and findings with relevant stakeholders within regional and local teams
• Prepare executive-level materials to convey findings and align key leaders throughout the organisation
• Contribute to regular analytical support for the key leadership meetings

Requirements:

• Proven track record in analytics and problem solving, potentially covering data analysis, financial modelling, forecasting
• Proficiency in one or several analytical tools like MS Excel, Alteryx, Python, etc.
• Strong communication and process management skills – or willingness to improve them in a dynamic environment
• Desire to deep dive into new topics and push forward latest thinking of top-management
• Exposure to financial industry – a plus
