Job Description
- Develop solutions for batch and streaming data processing
- Build, maintain, administer, and scale data pipelines and data models (analytics databases)
- Collect requirements from BI & Analytics team and identify data that is relevant to analysis
- Oversee data management and governance to maintain the data integrity
- Keep abreast of new developments in the big data ecosystem and learn new technologies
Requirements
- Experience as a database-centric engineer
- Experience with relational database system, with expertise in SQL
- Experience with programming languages (Java/Python/Scala etc.)
- Experience in building complex pipelines using automated workflows e.g. Airflow is a plus
- Experience with distributed data processing platform e.g. Hadoop, Spark is a plus
- Experience with BI tools and platforms e.g. Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio is a plus
- Interest in BI, data analytics, or data science areas is a plus
