The Data Analytics team at Realtor.com sits at the heart of this mission. We process and analyze terabytes of data daily, enabling decisions for millions of home buyers, sellers, renters, dreamers, and real estate professionals. Our goal is to use this data to make the home-buying experience a breeze for our consumers. We empower them with the most up-to-date information on properties, help them find their dream homes in the least amount of time, and match them with the most suitable realtor to meet their unique, individual needs.

What will you do?

Realtor.com is a two-sided platform helping match the consumers on our site and apps to our paying customers. This role will lead a team of data analysts responsible for providing data, reports, and analyses supporting a suite of our customer products. This is a key role within the Finance and Revenue Analytics team that will have significant input with executives in the Finance and Revenue organizations on key decisions to optimize revenue for the company.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and grow a team of data analysts; direct day-to-day activities; manage performance, and be responsible for career development.
  • Partner with executive stakeholders to develop and execute a roadmap of analytics initiatives that will drive the most business value for the suite of customer products for which the team is responsible.
  • Provide thought leadership on analytic techniques, statistical learning techniques, and data visualization techniques to enhance the service offerings of the team
  • Closely collaborate with Data Science teams to align on experimentation plans, analytic prototypes, and other joint initiatives

What will you bring?

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related or quantitative field 
  • 10+ years of professional experience in analytics preferred, 3+ years experience managing people.
  • Experience leading teams that have delivered analytic service offerings which repeatedly drive key business decisions.
  • SQL fluency with preferred experience using a scripting language like Python or R.
  • Experience with senior executive stakeholder management and communicating analytic findings to senior stakeholders
  • Preferred experience in leading reporting/data visualization capabilities. Understanding of infrastructure, monitoring, and alerting necessary to support highly visible and business-critical reporting. Tableau experience preferred.
  • Preferred experience with B2B ecosystems, including pricing, CLV, and yield optimization

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect in the listed locations. We tailor our offers based on the selected candidate’s experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process. All ranges are location based, ranges for positions in other locations may vary based on the local market.

Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Accordingly, offers extended for this role will include an annual bonus target typically expressed as percentage of salary. Similarly to salary, annual incentive bonus targets are set based on a variety of factors including job level, competitive market practice, experience, tenure, and essential skills.
