Job Description

Working as a member of our APAC Business Intelligence team, the Senior Business Intelligence developer is responsible to deliver reporting and dashboard solutions that meets the needs of the organization. The developer will be responsible for collaborating with business stakeholders to understand their requirements, designing, and implementing scalable and efficient BI solutions.

The successful candidate will demonstrate accountability, flexibility, and adaptability to handle multiple and changing priorities and be able to successfully collaborate with development teams, technology groups, and key stakeholders.

The Main Responsibilities

• Individual will create SQL Server & Power BI reports covering a wide range of areas including financial, operational and sales reporting. Reporting and metrics will be sourced from multiple order entry, workflow and inventory systems as well as supporting data marts / databases. 
• Individual will learn to use in-house developed tools, develop within agreed standards, and design guidelines. 
• Individual will liaise with multiple organizations to identify reporting and metric needs and requirements.
• Individual will support ad hoc requests and projects as requested by the supported organizations and teams.
• Individual will work with SSIS & linked servers to Extract-Transform-Load data in preparation for reporting work. 
• Overall job responsibility is to create repeatable and intuitive SQL server reports against organizational, group, and individual contributor performance measures to facilitate process and team improvement.

What We Look For in a Candidate

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, or related fields with 5+ years of professional work experience. 
• More than 5 years’ experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, querying / accessing large data sets and developing key business reports and metrics.
• Business Analysis & Requirement Gathering 
• Strong Microsoft SQL Server (TSQL) Skills
• Power BI (Or equivalent Reporting experience)
• SSIS package development 
• Understand & interpret business user’s requirements
• Curiosity and willingness to solve business challenges
• Exceptional analytical skill and problem solving
• Ability to work independently and remotely with minimal supervision
• Adopt to a fast pace and evolving environment, a high comfort level with dynamically shifting priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point)
