Job Description

We are looking for a Data & Intelligence manager with expertise in Data & Analytics for Customer Experience. This role will lead the team working on Data Integrations, Data Engineering and Business Intelligence for Customer Experience. 

The enterprise technology team supports insights with data and the technical systems that give our teams leverage to accomplish their goals. We work cross-functionally with Asana’s business teams to understand their objectives and ensure they have the data and technical support they need to reach our audience.

This role is based in our San Francisco office with an office-centric hybrid schedule. Along with most Asanas, you’ll work from this office in person on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. Most Asanas have the option to work from home on Wednesdays and Fridays. If you're interviewing for this role, your Talent Acquisition Partner will share more about the in-office requirements. 

What you’ll achieve

  • Work closely with CX teams to deliver strategic initiatives to improve the renewal rates for Asana
  • Use multiple sources of information including broader stakeholder views to develop data solutions and recommendations
  • Build and maintain a robust data warehouse. Deliver reports for business insights. 
  • Coach team members, recognize their strengths, and encourage them to take ownership of their personal development
  • Deliver programs and projects at the speed of business
  • Address sub-standard work or work that does not meet team’s / stakeholder’s expectations
  • Demonstrate measurable results, evangelize best practices
  • Build, sustain, and lead a great team

About you

  • In-depth experience with SalesForce, Gainsight, and other CX applications, including integration, security, administration, and core features.
  • Proven ability to define and deliver scalable technical solution architecture and integrated solutions involving various applications and middleware products (Mulesoft, Boomi, Snaplogic, etc), while ensuring quality and meeting project schedules.
  • Strong track record of working with Business Architects and/or Business Analysts to translate customer requirements into data products within an agile delivery model.
  • Comprehensive understanding of integrations with third-party systems through various integration patterns with SalesForce and other applications.
  • Excellent skills in managing and communicating with development teams, focusing on designing and implementing solutions that adhere to industry-leading practices and code quality techniques.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce deliverables in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, effectively collaborating across teams, and managing multiple projects and initiatives concurrently.
  • Over 5+ years of experience in successfully managing high-performing teams, along with Extensive hands-on experience (5+ years) in data integration and analytics design and development, utilizing data integration and automation platforms, preferably with a track record of delivering actionable insights.
  • 5+ years SQL development experience preferable with MPP platforms such as Snowflake.

For this role, the estimated base salary range is between $207,000 - $263,000. The actual base salary will vary based on various factors, including market and individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process. The listed range above is a guideline, and the base salary range for this role may be modified.

In addition to base salary, your compensation package may include additional components such as equity, sales incentive pay (for most sales roles), and benefits.
