As the professional and inspiring leader of the Advanced Analytics team (4+ people) you should ensure that all of our activities are based on actionable customer insights and delivers a win for the customer and win for Vodafone/4iG Group. With your great team and in a strong cooperation with your stakeholders you are expected to develop and execute a Advanced Analytics Roadmap that is strongly aligned with our company’s and segments’ strategy. Supporting efficient telco operation with analytics based insights and models and also delivering external data monetization project will be key responsibilities. Contributing to put insights into action by adding proactive recommendations to different operational teams, like Retail, CC, Collection, Digital and CX areas will ensure to delivery remarkable value to our company.

You will be involved in the following tasks

• manage and encourage the Advanced Analytics Team of 4+ people
• support all Vodafone activities with reports, analyses and insights
• identify improvement new opportunities for more effective operation
• develop and provision data marts, advanced data analytics and other affinity models to improve efficiency and customer focus of running activities and also to propose new initiatives to deliver financial and non-financial KPIs
• always stick to Vodafone’s customer data protection policy where we do not tolerate any non-compliance 

We are looking for you if you have

• 5+ years Data/Business Analytics and/or Data Science experience
• CRM/Commercial experience (Telco is highly preferred)
• Strong People Management skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong advanced mathematical and statistical skills (preferably with Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Computer Science)
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently as part of a team
• Fluent English in written and oral is mandatory
• Passion for quality and for best execution is also essential
• Technical skills, experience:

o experience in PL/SQL environments

o proficiency in using query languages such as SQL, Hive, Pig

o must have strong Python and it’s library skills (other programming language is highly preferred

o experience with common data science toolkits and data visualisation tools
