The Digital products portfolio represents different customer facing digital channels such as Alexa, Google Assistant as well as social messaging and chat interfaces to allow our customers to self-service everything around their products and services. The heart of this represents the Vodafone global TOBi platform, which is an AI-powered chatbot platform which integrates with several channels to serve a consistent customer experience. The aim is to delight our customers with a “wow” effect by making the experience as smooth and intelligent as possible. The platform includes all aspects of an AI-powered system such as Intent Recognition, Dialogue Management, as well as Speech-to-Text and Text-to-Speech services.

The role owner will be responsible for the standardization of ETL pipelines and data models across the global TOBi platform as well as driving the creation of insights using tools provided by Google Cloud Platform. The role owner will work closely with product owners as well as Privacy and Security teams to ensure technical and commercial KPIs can be built in a secure way and according to latest privacy regulations.

• Technical Project Management - ability engage with peers and other stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery of functionality and quality in projects.

Apply if you have:

• Higher education degree in IT/Engineering or related field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in data quality and security management
• Programming experience writing ETL pipelines
• Experience with data visualisation tools (e.g. QlikView or Tableau)
• Strong interpersonal skills and relationship management are necessary, both within and outside the organisation
• A self-starter with high levels of self-motivation, energy, and initiative 
• Effective communication skills and ability to explaining complex concepts to non-technical colleagues
• International experience and background in a matrix organisation
• Professional work experience with data analytics services from Google Cloud Platform (e.g. BigQuery, Dataproc, etc..)
