Job Description

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Data Scientist to join our team! In this role you will get to use your skills to compile data via computer scripting, statistical analysis, and data modeling to support national level missions and operations.

What You'll Be Doing:

• Data Processing, Modeling, Inference, and Prediction
• Devise strategies for extracting meaning and value from large datasets
• Make and communicate principled conclusions from data using elements of mathematics, statistics, computer science, and application specific knowledge
• Develop and implement qualitative and quantitative methods for characterizing, exploring, and assessing large datasets
• Translate practical mission needs and analytic questions related to large datasets into technical requirements and, conversely, assist others with drawing appropriate conclusions from the analysis of such data
• Effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical audiences
• Make informed recommendations regarding competing technical solutions by maintaining awareness of the constantly-shifting collection, processing, storage and analytic capabilities and limitations

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of relevant experience; Associate’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience; add'l experience above 3 years will be considered in lieu of degree
• Active TS/SCI ability to obtain polygraph security clearance required
• Minimum 3 years related experience
• Python or other programming language relevant to Data Science

Salary Range: 

$100,400.00 – $175,700.00
