As part of Synopsys SCE team you will be working with world class team of software engineers and architects on mission to build our state of art tools to enable development teams to build secure, high-quality software faster. You would use your technical judgment, experience and knowledge to mentor teams from concept to development, deployment and support. You would work across teams and organizations to bring alignment on goals and ensure that software gets developed and deployed on-time with high quality.

Responsibilities

Specific areas engineer will work on are:

• Regression tools - Contribute to the development of internal tools and processes
• Work with the team to implement new features and use cases.
• Work with the team to unify and transition existing applications to a new architecture to run on cloud.
• Write high-quality, maintainable, and efficient code
• Participate in code reviews and provide feedback to other team members
• Troubleshoot and fix bugs reported by users
• Conduct unit and integration tests to ensure software quality

Key Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 8+ years of related experience with Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree program
• Experience on development of complex software projects, experience in programming multiple languages such as Perl, Shell, Python, SQL
• Experience with version control systems such as Git and Perforce

• Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining data-centric and scalable applications.
• Optimizing Continuous Delivery infrastructure, by monitoring and improving the performance, scalability, and efficiency of our systems
• Should have Knowledge on Cloud and ML.
• Should have knowledge on Distributed System Architectures.

• Has a desire to learn and explore new technologies.
• Excellent communication skills, problem-solving and diagnostic skills.

Synopsys Central Engineering (SCE) team is looking for a developer with an exceptional focus on tools development and applications for RnD to enable them to perform their day-to-day activities in a productive and efficient manner. Engineer would be expected conceive, design and drive enhancements to existing applications through all phases of the software development lifecycle. Engineer will work all the way from requirements, design, implementation and testing phases to production deployment.
