Job Description

Architect and develop AI/ML augmented place-and-route technologies/flows focused on delivering best-in-class quality-of-results (QoR). Propose innovative solutions to overcome gaps and improve QoR/runtime through better algorithms and convergence. Responsibilities include developing functional specifications, architecting and implementing features, and developing a test plan for the new features. Drive cross-team development to deliver a complete solution.

Requirements:

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field, and ten (10) years of professional experience in the position offered or related capacity(ies). Alternatively, accepting a Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering or related field, and six (6) years of professional experience. Hands-on experience with AI/ML application for PPA in digital design is preferred.

EXPERIENCE/COURSEWORK MUST INCLUDE:

• Compilers and advanced technology nodes used in IC design ranging from 16nm to 5nm
• Circuit timing and power computation
• VLSI processes, design flow and methodology
• Physical design methodology, including timing, area, power and congestion concepts
• C++, Python and Tcl (Tool Command Language)
• AI/ML algorithms and familiarity with off-the-shelf packages
