Job Description

Sullair, LLC has an opening for a Data Scientist, Finance in Chicago, IL.

Analyze and help develop, implement and improve finance customer and product line computer systems/ databases and sales tools for financial reporting. Support BI Azure SQL platform – downstream mapping, data integrity, etc. Support through the analysis of data using preferred BI platform. Perform deep dive data analysis and reconciliation between ERP and BI SQL computer systems/ database. Work cross-functionally on business solutions, as directed, to develop and deliver sophisticated analytic solutions that support strategic business initiatives. Develop and leverage financial analytics to deliver profitable growth. Data modeling of Sullair customer and product portfolio. Provide analytical support to finance team. Provide expertise regarding data collection/ systems and analysis for internal and external customers. May work from home up to 2 days per week.

Must possess a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and at least 5 years of progressive work experience as a data related analyst. In the alternative, at least a master’s degree or its equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and at least 3 years of work experience as a data related analyst. Must also possess the following: at least 3 years of experience with data modeling and data architecture; at least 3 years of experience in data science, database development, advanced analytics or statistics; at least 3 years of advanced working SQL knowledge and experience with relational databases, query authoring (SQL); at least 3 years of experience using statistical computer language (Python or R) to manipulate data and draw insights from data sets; at least 3 years of experience using BI development tools (Power BI or Tableau).
