Solutions Specialist - High Performance Content Solutions is responsible for growing the Content Solutions business especially in High performance use cases in Australia and New Zealand and support other APAC markets. The individual will be expected to have a good working knowledge of High-Performance Computing, Data Platforms like HPFS, Hadoop and Data Lake environments. He would be a strong advocate in promoting Hitachi Vantara's Object Storage solutions for advanced and high-performance use cases.

Solutions Specialist is part of the APAC Technical Experts Organization and works in close conjunction with ANZ Sales & Presales teams and support strategic initiatives for other key APAC markets. Success will be measured through development of solution pipeline, strategic wins, Build new solution use cases and overall revenue target attainment.

The candidate needs to demonstrate a reasonable level of depth, knowledge of Data Platforms, Applications, and industry trends especially for Unstructured Data (File and Object Storage Solutions). A background and knowledge in High Performance Computing, Data Lake / Big data solutions is highly recommended. Experience and knowledge of ISV solutions, Partner solutions around unstructured data challenges and use cases is desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Grow High Performance data storage solutions (HCSF) and develop our partnership with ISV partners primarily in the ANZ region and support other APAC markets too.
  • Support HCSF top deals in APAC markets and be part of global Tiger team.
  • Build and advocate solution use cases with specific focus to acquire net new customers.
  • Partner with other Technical Experts for Sales, Presales and Partner Enablement activities.
  • Collaborate with Technical Experts in the region and develop, maintain POCs / Labs
  • Evangelize and participate in Customer / Partner events in ANZ and other APAC markets.

Required Skills and Experience

  • A minimum of 12 - 15 years' IT experience in Product / Solution Sales in a High Value solution-oriented company primarily in Object Storage solutions.
  • Good Sales knowledge of Object Storage solutions and prior experience in working for Technology companies and System Integrators in the Object storage solution space
  • Some skills and knowledge in selling High Performance Computing, Data Lake, and Hadoop Solutions is preferred.
  • Ability to conduct Customer value workshops, participate and present in customer events, EBCs and conduct Demos clearly articulating value for customers.
  • A clear understanding of a solutions sales approach and value-added selling.
  • This role has no direct reports. However, provides guidance to account teams.
